BioIt has sometimes been remarked that bricks are the most perfect of gifts, except that actually no it hasn't ever, because that's ridiculous. Bricks are not the perfect gift. It is difficult to imagine a person who would rather receive bricks for christmas and birthdays and anniversaries and the like than other things.
I suppose that in some cases where some kind of context inheres, based on extraordinary experiences, bricks could be surprising as a sort of in-joke. But this is not the bricks' doing.
